What they actually said the Status was "Final La Nina Advisory" which is correct in a way that this was their final report on the possible La Nina but the current status of ENSO is ENSO Neutral. I forgot to update the graphic in my article to "Final La Nina Advisory" but to me, it would have been more correct to say "ENSO Alert Status ENSO Neutral or just Neutral". The tricky part of their approach is the word "Alert". What are they alerting us to? Is it the current status of ENSO which is Neutral or that this is their final report on La Nina which in fact is at this point not going to be officially reported as a La Nina? I saw this on Thursday but did not address it at that time in the draft of my article and I forgot to do it last night so I apologize for that. I was focused on Part III of the article which is really important to read.
Sorry, but the landing Graphic should have said "ENSO Alert Status ENSO Neutral.
My mistake but it is clear in the text.
